How did your bike run at Broadford yesterday?

Saturday went very well - the weather was perfect and the bike felt great.

The power delivery was very linear with no dips or flat spots.

I think that it might be running a bit rich however, which meant that it didn't feel as powerful as it should have, so I'm going to swap the 150 mains for 140's and so how that goes.

I'll have to wait and see how it goes once it's dialled in to provide a proper review.

Sounds promising. Hopefully once the smaller jets are installed it'll be running perfect.

Did you get your bike dyno tuned at the shop?

The shops interstate so couldn't get the bike dyno'd there. I will be aiming to get it dyno'd locally in the near future, however there is a number of other things that I need to do to the bike first, so it'll be some time before I take it to the dyno.

The air tray arrived yesterday and it looks like a very well made bit of kit! It's similar to the Tyga air tray, but it has a snorkel at the front that goes over the radiator and helps to pull fresh air in.

I decided to then wrap it in DEI Reflect-a-Gold heat tape to help reduce heat soak and better control intake temps. It's overkill and probably won't do much, but given that I'm already going to the expense with this carb setup so thought 'why not'?!

Really dumb question. Shouldn't the gold reflective be on the engine side of the tray ? Then it keeps the engine temps away from the carbs
