nc35 project, help needed please

Post by branc35 » Sun Jun 10, 2018 3:06 pm

Hi
Just got an nc35 project bike , few issues, fork damper adjusters are siezed and fork seals are leaking, the preload adjuster on right fork doesnt screw down to remove circlip, just spins but can be pushed down but middle part moves down with it.
Indicators dont work, there is a datatool alarm fitted which flashes them, have checked switch and its fine and also have power going to the relay, I have tried another relay but still nothing.

LED indicators do not load the flasher relay sufficiently. You can add resistors or change the relay type. The alarm probably does not care what type of indicators are fitted.

Well you were spot on, tried on a normal indicator and they work, had some standard ones ordered anyway as I dont like the look of the ones on it.
Thanks for the help

The "middle" part of the adjuster can be screwed up and down independent of the preload adjuster. You have haynes manual, not a bible but has the basics right most of the time.
