Re: NC 30 dry clutch and several other trick bits
Sorry i have been so slack in updating i have had other priorities. I havent made much progress basically stripped the bike down lightened everything and replaced bolts with aluminum and titanium. So i made a new fork for the bottom of an R6 13S shock to lengthen it. The main thing i have been waiting for is a set of cams i sent off to be re-ground. I have also made an adjustable rear linkage but i havent got any photos of that yet.

Re: NC 30 dry clutch and several other trick bits
The clutch has been put off until i get the bike up and running and on track. I know it is the piece most people are interested in but i need a running driving bike before i worry about it and besides i got too carried away lightening the rolling chasis. But that is together now and should have the engine back together start of next mounth so after that should be time to blow the dust off the clutch parts. (Maybe i should change the thread name to half arsed attemp at dry clutch) hahahaha.mruehl34 wrote:Where is the dry clutch???

I see a cap at the end of the rod. Are they supposed to be oil tight?
I am assuming oil gets pumped into them, and exit via the drain holes.

The cover, she is made at last.
Very difficult getting out of the mould.
I chipped one of the bolt holes.
Needs a little love but should be more than usable.

Good work, what's happened with the starter motor clutch etc?
Does the clutch need that many plates now its dry and would the slipper suffer now not having any lubrication?
