Had a run out yesterday doing around 50 miles on some of my favourite local roads. It was reasonably warm, dry and the road surface felt pretty good plus not freezing my ass off was a winner..

The roads being full of morons is the downside of low fuel prices I guess it just encourages more folk out and about at weekends in cars jamming up all the good biking roads
Spent afternoon pulling an nc35 apart assessing what needs done Uncovered some horrors by previous owners hermatite on clutch casing no gasket ffs and household terminal block on fan wiring As well as a thread stripped on a brake caliper along with various other bodges frightening stuff but fixable .

Road out yesterday to Durham. A 200mile trip. Came back today via the lakes. Got home. Washed the bike and showered. When I get out of the shower it is frickin' snowing! Timed the journey well.

Checked valve shims.
Found oil leak, no gasket on alternator cover!
Changed plugs.
Waiting for gasket, oil filter and a rear tyre oh and coolant.

Well yesterday I have fitted my brake hoses and as the banjos were a bit grubby I painted them the same as the calipers.
Also sent a few items off for powder coating, hope they all come back!!
