RVF400 shock Question

Post by mruehl34 »

We know that the shock of the BMW S1000RR, 2011-2012, will fit on a rvf400. Does anyone have experience with an ohlins or bitubo shock on the bike?

Sorry to hijack but id like to know if anyone has also put a ohlins/wp/other from a cbr/bmw/aprilia onto a nc30/35.if the standard shocks of those bikes will fit with mods.is it a good bet that the aftermarket ones will as well?

As long as it has the same stroke length and the correct clevice or ball joint on each end then there is no reason it won't. The non remote reservoir might be an issue but I don't think it would be.

I assume that an aftermarket cbr600rr shock with remote res would fit beautifully after a rebuild
