Re: Show us your bike...
Had a bit of spare time this week so I wheeled it into the studio for its brochure shoot. Proper lighting does wonders for the paintwork!

Beautiful! Are those the original forks sprayed or coated, or after market?

Re: Show us your bike...
Cheers! I've only had it a few weeks so I'm not 100% sure about its history. Looking at where it's chipped there isn't any other colours underneath. It does have a showa sticker on the top but I'm not sure if it's a sticker or genuine. Given that the pervious owner had the orginal rear showa shocks refurbished it might be genuine. Maybe!Allrover wrote:Beautiful! Are those the original forks sprayed or coated, or after market?

Indeed, who knows if original. I've never seen them on one before. I love my super four but the lack of accurate information on them compared to UK sold models is frustrating (or is that part of their charm?!)

Re: Show us your bike...
Here is mine, 1992 CB400 Super Four. Just had the gold wheels done (see my other thread for that). Next project is simply to continue to polish everything back up - every bit of metal on it was dulled when I got the bike a few months ago. I would also love to get the seat recovered in quilted brown leather, so got my eyes open for anyone selling a spare seat unit. Ooh, potentially also would love to spray the exhaust matt black.

Love the look of that!CafeRacer400 wrote:Here's my Cafe Racer/Brat project. Spending a lot of time getting the mechanical basics sorted. Front end has been stripped down, forks overhauled with new bushes and seals, new wheels bearings, wiring neatened up. So much fun to ride though.
