Re: nc23 ram air
cheers guys, well i have all winter to design one so i think i may have a go to see how it works, at the moment i am living in brno and its dirt cheep to get on the race track here and test it back to back with a standard setup, also lp i think i remember you did some resistors for led indicators in the past or am i mixing you up with someone else? if so i may need some for my road bike

aye i play with LEDs.. am mid-project with Banshee with a custom rear lights, when he decides to order up the parts + have the speedo restrictor de-limiter kit or DIY instructions for NC23 1998<
used to build "idiot lights" for track use.. youd get Red= oil and Green = neutral lights all 12v ready + long enough cable for fitting.

Re: nc23 ram air
what im after is the resistors to allow led indicators to work, im pretty useless with electronics but am starting to learn more as my cbr is a track only bike and im getting fed up with masses of spare wiring so may be doing a loom job over the winter

Re: nc23 ram air
if its a track bike... no need for indicators.. unless its on a day time MOT so you can get to track?
options to get LED indis working are:
1st thing to do is change the indicator flasher unit for a LED one.. google em up, motrax do them for Honda with a honda plug.
depending on how your indicators are acting after the flasher unit, flashing at right rate but as hazard lights? then you also need option 2 VVVV
2nd option are Load resistors... you can buy them from ebay. i have a pair on my bike + LED flasher relay.
basically if you buy LED pre-built indicators, its NOT a good idea to start messing about with them, mainly due to the fact that we dont know what spec the LEDs are to be able to get the right resistors. the wrong Res = leds can blow up from too much voltage or not work at all = not enough voltage.
