First thing with the plugs is to check the engine is clean, if it's dirty you can knock crap into the open holes ... and your hands get dirty.
I take off the front mud guard and undo the radiator so it's just on the hoses and you move it around a bit. Of course you could take the rad off and replace the coolant depending on it's colour in the rad and expansion bottle. If you replace the plugs you'll be fine with copper core, I fit the twin electrode CR9ek http://www.sparkplugs.co.uk/ngk-spark-plug-cr9ek

It sounds more like the carbs though, clean and balance them that should improve things.

Ok so this turned out to be something simple after all, does anyone have a spare good ignition coil for cylinders 3 and 4?

No; but we know a man who has brand new Dynacoils and Taylor leads for that very bike he no longer (never did in the first place) needs. :P

I bet you get them cheap. :blowout:

bit too steep to be honest, its a standard bike so probably wouldnt benefit from them either. Just after a standard one :)

Yeah I don't need two FZR's I was just being greedy, we have all been there :whistle:
