right i will live with .007 smaller see what happens
decided i want them china rings out and to re look at that head i think one valve has had a prang
if its not right might as well redo it after all i am retired and i love my new job lol :roll:

Should be able to tell if the comp is good simply by turning it over by hand using a socket on the flywheel.
You will get that lovely suck and spin over as it compresses each stroke.

this job get worse put head back on today is bloody perfect no valve leakes with petrol test purge the bores with pressure from compressor and get what the inlet valves r leaking air (not a happy bunny ) so started on another head i have but ive a good mind to put the old head back on and dont even decarbon it
do leak test again on this next week and try again
these valves from what i have read seem to self sealing when the bike is running in its first few minutes from the verry minute ridges you can see under the magnifier i have but how can ya get a bike to start when you cant even keep a seal

dont think their is a problem with new ring i put in but might change them for the imd rings i have new
KNEW I SHOULD HAVE JUST CHUCKED THIS ENGINE AWAY AND BOUGHT A HONDA TO SLOT IN lol
