NC30 - wiring loom

Post by lukemillar » Wed Aug 20, 2014 3:31 am

Rather than cut down a stock loom to make a race loom, I figure it would be far nicer/easier to just make one from scratch. Thing is, I really want to stick to the wiring diagram colours so that it will be easy to refer back to in the future. All the local places just sell solid colour wires, so I'm looking offshore.

Does anyone has a good source (online) of electrical components and wire that is likely to stock all/most the various colour combinations of wire that you would find on an NC30 loom?

Thanks
Luke

I used these guys Luke when I built my race loom, think they will be able to keep you very close to the original honda colours.

I was just thinking about this today! My only problem with this is I'm colour blind! I think that would make it a challenge!

There is alot of stuff on that site! I'm just about to order some stuff myself. Are you replacing the ICM plug? If so I found a place in the states that has it!

I found it at a place called Cycle Terminal. If you search through his website you'll find it!

IMHO save your money on expensive crimpt tools and just solder the connections.

What makes you say that? I know it's a bit of an outlay, but I would have thought the crimpers would make for a better job.
