Hi all I am a new member to the forum . I've just recently purchased a honda vfr nc30 1992
I don't know if it's me being paranoid but when I'm changing down threw the gears they seem to be a little stiff they are fine from 6 to 5 5 to 4 4 to 3 but when going from 3 to 2 it's a bit stiffer then the rest is this a problem thanks for any answers godden

Is it ok going into neutral?

To be fair, I wouldn't worry too much, the boxes on NC30 can be a little stiff from time to time. Mine is better once the engine is warm but doesn't usually cause me any bother when cold. Make sure your linkage is in good order and if neutral is an issue, check the adjustment on your clutch cable also..

try greasing the gear lever pivot and check the linkage.
