The NC35 front end bolts on with a rick oliver kit, be warned though that the steering lock is greatly reduced when fitted to an NC30 frame.
I was constantly having issues with nearly falling off due to the steering banging against the lock when turning tight/slow corners on the road - it's fine for the track though.
A friend of mine has put a GSXR (K5-7ish i think) front end on his NC30 for the track and that seems to work well, the yokes had to be modified though.

Re: vfr usd front end
To be honest its nearly as cheap to get a triumph 675 front end as it is for a NC35.
For either you are going to need NC35 yokes, there are a set of billet NC35 yokes in a group buy on here now, i'd be looking at them rather than buying some NC35 original yokes that people seem to think are worth £100- £150, which they really aint.
Then you are going to need fresh calipers lines and M/C either NC35 brakes or if you use the 675 forks you get radial brakes.
675 and NC35 swap both use your existing NC30 wheel discs and spindle, only thing thats tricky on the 675 is the mudguard i think.
Dunno what a set of NC35 forks are but 675 forks will be more £250 for a std pair i'd think. but these will be far and away better than ageing NC35 forks and will have adjustment that works and makes a real difference. plus even if NC35 forks are cheaper they would still need a service i would imagine given their age, whereas you would prob be ok to just bolt the 675 forks in.
For me the cost of the NC35 fork swap isnt really worth it as they arent that much better, however for a little more cash a 675 front end is worth it. Better brakes and adjustability and a far newer design etc.
I have a NC30 race bike and as soon as i can afford it i will be putting a 675 fron end in.

Re: vfr usd front end
As 28Hodge and CRM say, if you have later 30 forks keep them and upgrade plus get a good rear shock. If you want USD go for 675.
