Carb to airbox rubbers ,,

Is there anywhere I can get new rubbers for the air box that fit to Carbs for a 3TJ1..
Mine have gone hard and wont stay on the carbs , i have used hot water to soften them but when they cool they pop off,,
And sadly they are like snorkles that run into the air box so not something that might be lying around from other bike that would do the Job...

Make sure you include part numbers it saves a lot of time, their pretty good over the phone too. Part numbers can be found in the manual in the docs section incase you didnt know.

Didnt practical sportsbike do an article on refurbishing old hardened rubber parts earlier this year?
I cant remember what they used though

Having had a look ontinterweb, it seems that Wintergreen oil (Methyl salicylate) is good for softening hardened rubber parts. Practical Sportsbike used 50:1 water to Wintergreen oil and heated it very gently.

I think that better results may be had with 30% Wintergreen mixed with 70% Toluene - though its supposed to be pretty toxic stuff!

A couple of hours in acetone will do it nicely,
