Fork Compression oring - OEM Part?
Hi all,
Reassembling my '93 NC30 forks in the wee small hours. I have racetek internals up front. The oring on the compression damping assembly has a nick in it. As such:

Looking at the parts catalogue I don't see anything there for a compression assembly at all.
Anyone know if this is a racetek part or a honda part redeployed into the above assembly?
Many thanks.

Questions answered: Racetek. The local representative actually has them in stock! :-) Nice one.

Honda doesn't sell fork internal parts separately, but an o-ring is usually just an o-ring...
Match the ID and section width and you're pretty much done. There's a UK source for o-rings I've used before... Let me see if I can dig it out.

Found it: http://www.polymax.co.uk/o-rings/
Most big bike shops/mail order places sell assortments of o-rings, too, but if you need a specific size, Polymax will have it.

Hey thanks, saved the link.
btw, I've been over your vsource site quite a number of times. The racetek section has been very useful. Thanks. :)

Thanks! Sorry, I didn't notice that you were in Oz, but I'm sure there are plenty of places to buy o-rings there. The trick is to find them in small quantities, or useful assortments. Here's one in Europe, but I'm sure there are sources local to you as well: http://www.louis.de/_103a36ba89d8416307 ... r=10003060
