Yes, that was my thinking! ~ but I don't want to find that the 090 doesn't last the journey tho

I'm sure it will last unless you go bonkers, I think some people's claims of wrecking a 090 in 1000 miles on the road are a little exaggerated

Re: The NC30 & 35 tyre thread
I have always used bt090's on the rear but during a bike swap around i ended up with a bt014. At my last track day i had a rear end slide at a speed i didnt expect it at. I now have another rim but its got an 010 on it so recon that would be horrible so guess my only option is to ebay them an get nice fresh 090

Re: The NC30 & 35 tyre thread
I just received a pair of Bridgestone BT 092 from here...
http://www.thevisorshop.com/acatalog/Bridgestone.html
They arrived in 4 days from UK to ontario canada. Shipping cost on website says 50l however they were charged 100l and agreed to split the difference and charge me 75l. I thought that was very fair and was amazed to see them here in 4 days. Great service by thevisorshop :) Will probably save them until next spring as I still have a bit if rubber left on the Dunlops on the bike now. I ride conservatively, small balls, lol, so I think the 092's will be fine for me...

BTW, I did 3245 miles on the new BT090 rear and isn't even half worn yet. Only slight squaring so no worries.

Thats impressive for an 090, i have done about 1.5k and mines pretty much done for, maximum 250 miles left in it. I think that TD must have burnt alot of rubber!BB_158 wrote:BTW, I did 3245 miles on the new BT090 rear and isn't even half worn yet. Only slight squaring so no worries.
