NC23J... Slight missfire?

Post by Mingernick »

Hi, wondered if ya'll could help/ shine a light...

Bike seems to start and run fine until I open it up....

I prob need to ride it again to be sure, but from about 10k rpm it seems to miss a beat, just one every now & then... But to the point of being annoying/dangerous.

I have new plugs & air filter.

I am guessing new leads next... But could it be the coils?

are you sure its fuelling right?

Get it on a dyno and you will now in 20 mins - in fact there is a £10 a go open day at projex this weekend I think. there is a thread somewhere. Depends how far away you are I suppose.

Had another run today, still not sure.

Could well be the fuelling... It seems to run better when you wack the throttle wide open , rather than on 1/2 throttle.
