Re: The Exhaust Thread
Thanks for the reply Vifferman, let me take some close ups of the pipewerks. Not sure how to tell if they are Ti or not.

Re: The Exhaust Thread
Here are some closeups of this exhaust system. Welds look a bit crude. For bonus points can anyone ID the rearsets in the last 2 pics? Are they JAP WR's?

That's a standard honda rvf exhaust system.Rrotz wrote:Here are some closeups of this exhaust system. Welds look a bit crude. For bonus points can anyone ID the rearsets in the last 2 pics? Are they JAP WR's?
Yep, they're wr's rearsets (Japanese) my favourites, wish I'd never sold mine!

Re: The Exhaust Thread
Any thoughts on what I should do with the exhaust system? I want to end up with a Yoshimura SS can and thinking a TYGA front end system. Any other options out there?

Yoshi dont make cans for NC's so if thats what you want your going to end up with just generic yoshi can or one from another bike. Personally id keep the TSR can its 100 times better and the stock RVF system is pretty good to be honest but if you have money to throw at it why not, TYGA is a good option.

Re: The Exhaust Thread
Thanks Drunken. I'm sure Yoshi makes one for the RVF, I had a dealer check on pricing for me. Anyplace I can get the front end TSR pipes in titanium? How much damage would that do to the ole CC?

Re: The Exhaust Thread
What DM said.... TSR never made the front downpipes, let alone in TI.

Re: The Exhaust Thread
I think one or two of the japanese manufacturers made Ti front pipes, 90% sure JHA did and maybe Beet too. Saying that i have only ever seen two JHA systems for sale both of which where stainless and two Beet Ti systems but they where half's, you'll have to be very very lucky to find some.

Re: The Exhaust Thread
What SS fronts should I get or should I have the OEM Honda's polished up? What decent options do I have up front? I have a TSR oval can, where can I get a SS or CF round can? Is the oval better than the round?
