IIRC Tyga's carbon 35 has a 5.5 carbon on the back of it with a 160. They machined down the rear wheel spacer, shited the arm over and shimmed the gearbox sprocket. Looks nice, but a matching pair of those rims is about £2.5K!!

If your using a 520 you may not need the chain spacers at all, i didnt but some say it doesnt fit.

A 5" will be very hard to find, ive never seen one.

If you put a 4.5" RVF wheel and a 5.5" mag wheel side by side both with 160 tyres on it looks so much better on the 5.5" wheel.

God knows why they go straight on, maybe it was originally a ducati wheel?????

Thinking about that i cant see why they would move the swingarm over, for what reason? all its going to do is run the wheel off centre

My mistake, it was 5.75! For an RC45.

That makes sense then, wheel has to moved to the right to clear swingarm so swingarm is then moved to the left to re centre wheel. The profile of the 160 must be really flat on that wheel, it does look stunning though.

Yup looks amazing!

These pics are what set me off on the carbon bodywork but I just couldn't afford an rvf base bike, to be honest think the nc30 will turn out just as good as my original ideas but with the slightly better build quality of the vfr.

Still saving for the mag rear wheel, full stainless/Ti system, sillohoutte upper and Koso dash though lol

As a side note are there any three spoke nsr250 rear wheels that would fit, would an MC28 three spoke mag wheel slot straight on?

I got a quote for all the carbon bits less the wheels from Gav at Jap4, it IIRC it was about £1600. Not that you'd have to do the whole lot in one go, but Tyga are currently temporarily unable to do the big bits like seat and fairings, so they may become scarce for a bit...

MC28 well are a direct bolt on although its just as hard to find aftermarket mag wheels for them, people pay silly money even for the SP rears which are mags but the mag content is so low its hardly worth bothering.

Ive got RS250 mags on one of mine which pretty much bolt straight on wiht some different spacers but is the all important 5.25" rear

I did speak to someone who has a bit to do with dymag a while back and he seems to think dymag(or whatever there called now) will produce a wheel for the NC but will want a minimum of 6 orders to make it worth while. Thats 6 rears or 6 fronts not 6 sets.

Speedy I already have the carbon bodywork, minus the upper! Check out the build tread

Ok I see, will keep an eye out for both then drunkn, it'll be three spoke mags for rc30 or mc28 when or if they turn up on fleabay.

I can't see a group buy happening for dymags lol

Ill get some more pics up when the other parts arrive
