The covers are rubber with tiny circlips. The pipes are brass.. Sorry cant get the numbers now as im on my phone but if you dont get sorted i will look em up tomorrow. Number 1 cylinder is the hardest to sort, unless you have tiny hands.

After looking at your pics on a proper pc, I think I may have the wrong bits in mind, unsure?

Are they the vacuum tubes you use when you balance your carbs?

So for now I will assume this is what your after.

If so here is what you need X4

Cap boost.. 16215MV4000 ..Rubber caps

Joint boost.. 16214MB0000 .. brass valves

Clip B7.. 9500202070 ..clips for cap boost

These can be found on the cylinder head part of the fiche. DS has them in stock as I replaced some a while back.

If its not those, sorry dont know, eleborate please.

was in passing conversation about my running issue. it wont run smooth under 20mph.. "airs getting in" so i am replacing the head rubbers (between carb n head), but someone said dont forget the vacuum pipes as they can crack/leak in air too... as i cant quite see which is a vacuum rubber & what isnt.. thought id ask here
BUT after more searching, i THINK the vacuum pipe is the one leading from the carbs to that silly sub air filter that sits under the air box...

Ahh.. in that case there is a good possibility he means those cap boost covers mentioned by me above. They maybe are perished letting air in directly to the cylinder. pull em off and check but be careful as a couple of mine were lightly perished and then came apart while trying to take the pesky circlips off. They are not too much at £1.55 before vat/delivery, but only 8 in stock at DS, maybe GF stocks them as well.
