The bracket that holds the front coils. The coils ground to the bracket, and if it isn't connected to the bike then you won't have spark.

okay i have checked the grounding issue and its all fine..... and still no spark... i am annoyed!!! ive replaced the damn pick ups.... ive checked all my coils, my battery, my stater motor, my solenoid, EVERYTHING but the CDI unit..... could that be the problem?

How exactly are you testing for spark?

agaisnt the bike frame.... that should spark like that. but it wont. ive even tried on the metal parts on the carb... believe me ive pretty much treid it on EVERY metal point on this bike... no spark.

Yes. The CDI could be the problem...

I don't think I have ever seen a motorcycle with so many issues before. Sorry!

Either full strip and rebuild or part it out.......1st dibs on the front wheel.......you can keep the rest :lol:

im not giving up lol. why would i do that? it was working perfectly fine before the starter clutch went dead.. so something is clearly wrong. and it is electrical. and i will fix it.
