one coil reads infinite.... one reads 744K ohms, i didnt disturb them at all.. just removed them while taking the starter clutch out, and then re insstalled them after i put my new starter clutch in

As I said unusual that both should fail at the same time, how are you measuring the resistance. Does the multimeter read zero when you connect the multimeter leads together.

i know how to use a DMM its not hard :P. i measured the resistances the way haynes manual says..... yellow/white and yellow, blue/white and blue..... both read stupid amounts of ohms.... i should have 450-550 ohm.... but on the 200ohm scale it shows 1. on the 20k ohm scale it shows 1.... on the 200k ohm scale it shows 1.... on the 2000k ohm scale one shows 1.... and the other one shows a fluctuating 744K ohm... fluctuates from 400k-1000k ohms.... i chose 744 because it stayed there for about a minute stable.

I still suggest you repeat the measurements, two failures at the same time is unusual. Did you perhaps make the measures at the wiring loom connector.

Yep, disconect the coils before you measure them

i will disconnect them tomorrow and measure it like that and see if it makes any difference to the readings.

but like i said, everything else is working perfectly fine.... so if thats not the cause... then what is.

No idea without looking at the bike but everything is obviously not working right else the bike would run.

Did you disturb or break the pickup wires that are in the clutch side?

The pickups should not touch any part of the starter clutch, in fact I would expect that they a keyed to ensure that there is clearance between them and the starter clutch. What resistance do your "new" pickups measure? For most people diagnosing ignition unit faults is limited to ensuring there is power, ground and pickup signals and then substitute another good unit.
