checked the cdi aswell, no problems there. one thing, does the stator control the sparking on these bikes aswell? maybe ive burnt the stator... didnt check that at all.

Your doing your trick if asking a question, then asking more questions without checking out the answer of the first question in hand,

Pick ups, go check, they are the sensors that signal to cdi, to then signal to the coils to pulse a spark charge.

Stator goes to the rectifier, turning 50v ac to 12v dc that is all

kill switch is on the on position. but i will disconnect that and see if that is the cause......

nah kill switch is fine.. the pulse coils are fucked im getting way too high resistance from them

If you disconnect the kill switch you will remove power to the ignition unit. Have you checked for 12 volts on the black/white wires at the ignition coils and the ignition unit?

i disconeected the kill switch, but then the ignition wont work, so i reconnected it. but i had checked the ignition coils and CDI and they were all fine. i think my main problem is the pulse coils.

What was the resistance reading? Unusual to have both trigger coils fail at the same time. Do you disturb them while changing the starter clutch?
