mo haggs, starter clutched fixed the problem. no more jamming! :D okay, one last minor problem though, my bike wont fire up, this had already happend before i fixed the starter issue, i removed my fuel tank and the vacuum hose has split in half. also im not sure if this is meant to be like this... but when the fuel tap is on the ON position. when i tip the bike fuel flows freely out onto the ground.... but the SAME thing happens when the tap is set to the RESERVE position... im not sure if thats meant to be like that :(... but everything is fine when its set to the OFF position.

Fuel will flow from the tap in the "ON" and "RES" position and should not in the "OFF" position, the tap only flows fuel if the vac pipe is connected, there is a diaphram inside the tap that works on a vaccume and the vac pipe opens this diaphram letting the fuel flow ,
if as you say fuel flows freely out of the tap then someone has done the hrc mod on the tap or the diaphram is knackered

Before you go and remove/ strip the tap replace the vacume hose first.
Clear tubeing from B&Q will do for testing purposes, its about 90p per mtr.

i got some hose for the bleed nipple. im sure its the same diameter needed, il just use that. i have plenty of that. but wont i still need a new tap. or diaphragm? so its worth doing that too.

It looks quite possable yes, but try the vac hose first.
Once you eliminate that as a possability, then look at the tap.

Its all about the process of elimination, you know the vac hose is damaged so if you do that it takes it out of the picture. If you change 14 things on the bike in one go - and the problem goes away - you won't know wich one actually fixed the problem?
;)

fixed the tap issue, just removed it and dismantled it and then put it back together, now it wont leak. but im a bit confused on why my bike wont actually start..... on the day that the starter clutch broke... it seem to have an effect on the bike ignition system? ive changed the starter clutch... everything spins and turns over well... but the bloody thing wont start up. im on full choke no throttle..... i cant even hear the splutter and coughing that usually happens when the bike is about to fire up..... wtf is the problem... cant be plugs.. ive changed them recently.....
