Options for vfr 400 tyres

Post by wambam87 »

Hi guys

Ive just got my hands on a 1993 vfr 400 nc30 ( woot )
Its been in a chaps shed for a year , and the tyres need changing as they developed flats in the time its been still. Ive looked at some other forums and they all rate the BT090's but theyve been discontiued and i was wondering what tyres you guys recomend?

Also i have been advised to go slightly thicker on the front as apparently there prone to rim damage is this true?

Size Front 120/60 r17 ( advised 120 / 70 )
Rear 150 / 60 r18

Any help would be awsome

Sam

BT090 are still available and the tyres in the right sizes are the way to go.

Simple as that
