nuts and bolts
ok so i need a new set of the bolts that hold on the tail unit of my nc30 and i fancy titanium if i can afford but i was wondering what thread these bolts are and what people have replaced them with (pictures welcome) as i cant seem to find replacement oem style ones .
looks like im probably going to get them from pro bolt as the local ducati dealership give me a bit of discount (about 15%) and they are a pro bolt distributor.
o and i thionk if i can afford it while im at it il replace all the fairing fastners, so what are the threads of the top of the three mid fairing fastner bolts (the other twin are quarter turn jobbies, il replace them with dzus fastners)

Re: nuts and bolts
You can order the OEM ones fromany motorbike shop = get the fiche, take the numebrs and go order them. They do look pretty good.
The alloy probolt ones are OK but do not last - I would not buy them again. Saying that I did have a phase of whipping the fairings off at every verse end to fidle with stuff so they took a beating.
Ti bolts would be good..but for the money you can spend wiser elsewhere...but seeing as you are after the bling rather than the bang...I guess you want the ti anyways..lol

Re: nuts and bolts
Can't you get bolts nickel or chrome plated? I have a brand new set of those OEM bolts at home and intend to get them coated once I am happy that I don't have to keep taking them off.
Dont forget there are 7 in total. 6 on the seat, one in the middle of the nose cone.

Re: nuts and bolts
nah there's is nine isnt there, there are 2 at the bottom of the fairings or is that a different bolt?
after looking at the ti prices i think il go stainless... it was going to be £10 for a tapered bolt and tapered washer... and £30 a dzus fastner (although i think thats must be dor a set)
on so now iv narrowed that down, what are the thread sizes?
