Hi guys, i'm looking for Dzus type screws which which are not 1/4 fasterners.
the screws i'm looking for are just normal screws that look like dzus and don't require me to use a screwdriver to take them out.
i want to replace the two rear cowl screws with dzus ones which have that little handle thing to unscrew..
do theses exist?

Could you not just convert it to 1/4 turn by using some of the rivet-on back plates you can get?

The problem with those type of screws is that you might not be able to put enough tension on so they don't unscrew with the vibration.
I've had things vibrate out that i'd done up with a screwdriver before so i'd be weary of those... 1/4 turn ones you can just drill out the hole in the bracket and rivet on a backplate as amorti said.
Will be secure and easy to put in / remove.
Plus you can always replace the bracket if you decided to go back to standard

real question would be why ??
its not like you need to remove the seal cowl all the time
stick with the normal screws or go to full deus clips

I can't remember off hand but arn't the two holes you'd need to drill on removable brackets that bolt to the frame? Will wrote:hmmm.. i just dont want to drill through OEM holes.. thats about it.
Just get another set to drill that way you can always switch back
