Couldn't put old horrible fasteners onto freshly painted wheels
So I blasted them and gave them to the zinc coaters
And the tyres have turned up
All on target to get it all fitted to the bike for this sat...hopefully

Re: Honda Britain nc30
Spent the morning on the bike, was very eager to pick the wheels up to say the least.
I got the old wheels off, these will become my track day set to make the most out the tyres before they are scrap. I changed the disc's over to keep the gold centred ones on the gold wheels.
I was going to fit these, but the diameter of the hole was too large for the valve.
Promptly got the tyres fitted.
Fitted the disc's with the new bolts, then re-balanced it.
Fitted the rear to the bike, easy jobs first
With the new coated nut.
With the new larger 8's on, this is my Carl Fogarty Honda Britain TT winner replica 100% done, she's not perfect by a long shot but I think she's turned out pretty well and am very happy with her.

Very smart. Gold wheels are the icing on the cake for that period of race reps.

Re: Honda Britain nc30
Been looking at the calipers on this bike and thought they would be better suited to the trackbike. The stock brakes are much more in keeping with the race rep scheme.
So I pulled the old ones out and took the billet ones off.
Pushed the pistons out as far as they could go and cleaned them up, cleaned up all the pins and anti-rattle springs and the bodies.
All apart
Back together
The Bike is due the MOT and a general service too, so that'll all be happening soon ready for the summer.

Re: Honda Britain nc30
it is lovely.
For me though...and nit picking.. too many stickers - the MIchelin fork stickers and the goodridge mudguard ones are too much.
Like it.
