Bike was holding back on slip road?

Post by PeteJ »

Ok so first run out and i must say it seems to get better as each mile goes passed..... But on my way back from a 40 mile run i hitthe slip road to my local A120 and there was a slight incline, but the bike got to about 8-9kish and it just wouldnt acclerate.... then as it flattened out it started to pick up again, im sure its fueling related but what way and nwhat could be the soloution??

Carbs were stripped and cleaned and new carb rubbers and plug. A friend hasthe tools to set the carbs up (balance) so maybe thats the next step??

As usual any help much appreciated!

Balancing only improves the smootheness of the idle.

At Open throttle it doesn't make any odds
