NC24 carbon fibre fairings
Hello all,
I might be looking into the hobby side of making up carbon fibre fairings.
I personally making a set for myself and if it all goes well and i can make them up would people be interested in buying a set. I have yet to work out a cost other than what the mould costs are.
The set would include
Nosecone
Side panels
Rear side panels
Pillion seat surround
Regards
Richard

Hi Richard,
I suppose it will be all down to cost, most of my panels are a bit skuzzy and with a fair few repairs, different colours and would love a decent set, but would they turn out to be worth more than me steed?
as I was under the impression that Carbon Fibre cost have gone up due a big demand from the aero industry

Re: NC24 carbon fibre fairings
Im still checking out pricing.
I have the cost of making a mould now so im going to get on to doing that and see how a set comes out. Im making my own anyway.
Once i know the costs I will come back with the cost.

Out of interest how much was the mould? I imagine that's one of the most expensive parts of doing this kind of thing.

Not as much as you would think.
I have yet to make the mould, so i dont have my time to add into what it would cost.
Not wanting to reveal the cost of parts really.
