The engine is being picked up this week. The guy also has a lot of other stuff like the loom, coils, rad, oil cooler etc so I will make an offer for them as well.
Today I did a bit more to the yokes I will be selling to fund this project:

I picked up the engine tonight and the frame needs a little trimming on some of the lugs, but first impression is that it will be snug, but will look like it is meant to be in that frame!

I noticed (when i had a good look round the original 1) the petrol tank needs quite a few mods to make it work & there were clearance issues with a few other things, i'll shoot down to BRM (who had it last) over the weekend & ask them.

I thought the tank would need a lot of modding, but that isnt too much of a problem. The Rc24 engine is quite tall.

A bit of work tomorrow and it should slide in the frame.

Will there be a lot of butchering involved to fit the 750 motor?

Also is it chain or gear? Seems a shame for some reason to fit a chain drive motor. Nevertheless, sounds a sweet project.
