NSR250 WHEEL ON AN NC23 - RRJ?
So I have an offer of a 17 inch NSR250 MC21 rear wheel, basically I want to fit it on my CBR NC23 to put an end to the hours of searching for crappy 18 inch tyres!
Does any one know if this is a straight swap and whether I can use the current wheel spacers and set up that I have on my tri-arm?
Thanks in advance!

According to Tyga performance: "The wheels originally fitted to this bike when we bought it are actually from an MC21 NSR250 and are a direct and simple conversion."

You will need to use the MC21 sprocket carrier studs as they are 5mm shorter or it causes the wheel to pinch up? You can shorten the Triarm ones by 5mm if you must? The carrier and the 3-bolt Triarm disc will bolt straight on...

NC35 front wheel to match, also a straight fit with the old spacers & discs etc...

Bang tidy.
(Miss my CBR4....)

Great thanks for the responses. Im getting through tyres after 2 trackdays at the moment so really need a 17inch rear to save me some money!
Cheers guys, Now all I need are the sprocket mountings then!

Well I have all my kit sitting in the garage, all apart from a tyre.
Im going to shorten the NC23 carrier studs as advised, which end needs the 5mm reduction? Is it the threaded end or the allen headed end?
Simple question but I would prefer to make sure I understand the issue before milling off the wrong end!
Cheers in advance!

I have a 160/60-17 Pilot Power that's only got a handful of miles (literally) on it just sitting around which I don't really need. It's going to take me forever to finish the Pilot Sport that I have on the bike, and until then the tyre is sitting on top of my wardrobe, which isn't a great decoration. No squaring, no bobbling, no real visible wear. Any use? Drop me a PM.

You want to skim 5mm off the allen-headed end (wish I took photos at the time, lol)
Easy enough, especially if you have a mill?
