Nc23 question
Looking at a nc23 with a snapped choke cable. Do they start ok from cold with no choke?

Re: Nc23 question
There will be a knack to it... Can you not get a ziptie around the mechanism and use that to pull it open??

Re: Nc23 question
lol.neither do I..but you know the choke is a cable activated linkage. On ym 30 I use a zipt tie, on the actual linkage, to pullt he linkage instaead of using a choke mechanism.
The linkages are easy to get to..so try it
If not, a sniffy sniff of throttle might get it going.or some easy start/carb cleaner sprayed in it..

Re: Nc23 question
Yeah I did the same on my NC29 carbs lift the tank up to get access to the carbs and then put a bit of wire attached to the choke mechanism with a washer on the end hanging out the side of the bike and hey presto

Re: Nc23 question
** NC23 choke cables are discontinued by Honda, DSS etc...
Best hope you can get one on ebay? The cable was broke on my Triarm when I got it?

Re: Nc23 question
I know this is an older topic, but the pictures will help I've got the fuel tap left to take off and airbox then I'm replacing my choke cable and I have ordered a brand new OEM choke cable?? So how hard to get are they? lol...
Hopefully it arrives but I've seen a few other places also listing new choke cables for NC23
