EBC V's Armstrong V's Goldfren

Post by Gooey »

Hi,
Fairly new to all this forum stuff (first post, new member!) but wondering what set of front pads i should be looking at getting.

Found 3 possibles on ebay at varying prices, all HH grade sintered.....

Is it basically a question of you pay for what you get? i.e are EBC ones best?

Look forward to your advice!

I was recommended HH's and there is a guy on here called moonscale who might be able to sell them to you at a better price than the sites.
I have no experience in the different types so hope someone will come along and help you out with which one is better.
I saw it so I took it!

I'm using Goldfren on my NC24 and they're fine. At a fraction of the cost of EBC. Cost me roughly £15 per caliper as opposed to £25 per caliper on the EBCs.
Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.
