Been a while. [Pic of me new toy now too.]

Post by dickdastardly »

So, sold my NC23 by mid Sept, but couldn't stay away from the 400's. Everything I'm doing atm the moment seems to be revolving around 4's. Uni project is based on a NC30.

So... Went and bought a pretty sweet looking NC29, 2006 CBR600 fairing on already which looks pretty mint, I think it's 2006, I pretty much just said I'd take it. Need to stop throwing my money away on other things and have it sitting in a bike. Picking it up on Sunday depending on the snow I suppose. I'll get some pics up then.

Just saying... Good to be back.

Yeah, can't wait to hear it on.

Thought I'd chuck a couple pics up of what I've just bought.

So, was this ever anyone's on here? Bought this on a shoe string, needed to put my money into something instead of just chuckin it down the drain on stupid stuff. £800, looks like its got a shock out of a CBR6, stainless 4-1 system, art can. Obvs the CBR fairings. Can't wait to have a look and see if there are any goodies in the forks, carbs n maybe if I'm lucky, engine. Haven't even ridden it yet. I don't even know if it runs!!! Will give me something to tidy up real nice I spose.

There was a guy on here who fitted 09 CBR600 fairings to an NC29 then painted it gloss black, the name scratchin rings a bell I'm sure there was a build thread on his bike if it is the same one it might answer a few of your questions ...
