V4 Fireblade..Hmmm
Anyone else read this story? What are your thoughts and would you be enticed enough to own one?

Re: V4 Fireblade..Hmmm
But, the Blade has always been an inline 4, the Baby Blade was an inline 4. With a V4 power plant, it just won't be a Blade

Re: V4 Fireblade..Hmmm
i guess thats the debate...but honestly the current VFRs just aren't all that appealing...personally i would like to see a revival race bred V4 RVF but it's interesting to see what Honda may come up with

Re: V4 Fireblade..Hmmm
i don't care what it's called as long as it goes well and looks the part and i'd be tempted if i had the cash spare.
It's not having what you want but wanting what you've got....Loud ,Proud and Modified ....

It'll never be another RC but it'll be nice to have some more V4 options in the superbike end of the market.

Re: V4 Fireblade..Hmmm
I agree with what others have said, it wouldn't really be a blade, perhaps a MOTO V
But i would be very very very keen to have a go on one
I reckon that they will be a real match for the RSV4 and the BMW and please please please Honda make a 400 !!!!!!!!!!!!

I imagine it would have to be priced similar to an aprilia RSV4 for honda to make any money back.

Re: V4 Fireblade..Hmmm
Bit late isn't it?
Given the ideas Honda's current styling department churns out, might be pretty cringe-worthy to see what they come up with.
1000ccs is too big anyway. A 600 V4 would get me tempted if the engine was anything like my 675...

Re: V4 Fireblade..Hmmm

Although an entry level V4 600 would be trick, how about a RC6 and a ohlins loaded RC8r? i'll keep wishing
