Race clocks

Post by skinnydog0_0 »

Hi all,
I have fitted some clip ons to my race 35, and the master cylinder is hitting the temp guage. I can't have the clipon turned in more as it hits the frame on full lock.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Or does anyone have pics of their setup?
Thanks in advance

Most peeps have this problem when fitting aftermarket clipons, i did. If it is the master cylinder itself, you will need the tyga steering reducer.

If it's the fluid pot, make a small alloy bracket and fit it under the top yoke pinch bolt on the right and fit the pot here.

Cheer Micro Monkey, yer i have an R6 master cylinder on and i think it is a bit bigger than the standard one. I will get the steering reducer and see how it goes.
Do you still run the standard clocks or do you have 30 clocks?
Cheers

I have the 35 clocks. I use the semi radial master cylinder off the R6 which meant moving the fluid pot. Funny, as with my gilles clipons the clutch adjuster wheel would foul the speedo on mine but the R6 master fitted a peach with a 6mm gap to the clocks.

The Tyga Reducer will sort your problems though
