Coolant change with fresh antifreeze and a fairing-off clean while it was in bits, been used a few times in the wet so had to be done

Have to say Banoffee this is a great thread. You've done a bang up job on the bike and its nice to see how its progressed overtime.
Do you think you might be able to post up a little list of some cleaning products you recommend? I have GSXR400 in need of some serious cleaning after being off the road for 8yrs. Lots of white spots on the frame, fork bottoms, swinger and pipe. Any suggestions would be greatfully received.
Keep up the good work!

have OCD. ok not really, I'm a fan of muc-off, gunk, a selection of brushes, wd40 and lots of cloths. I also use a cutting compound to refresh paintwork. used carefully it brings up old paintwork a treat ready for polishing. have used it on frames and clear screens before, again carefully.

better than I'd expected. I was going to run a 092 rear on a spare wheel for longer distance runs but got a whole spare bike instead
