Hi Guys,
finally got the 1wg run up the road but the front forks are real soft. I guess a change of oil and maybe some spacers on the springs will do the trick, but i can't find which oil to put in or what air gap there should be?
anyone any idea or can point me to some good resources for this??
cheers

Depends on what model you have, here are some of the front suspension specs from a previous post.
I used 15w oil instead of 10w, made a big differance on my 3TJ.
The FZR400A and FZR400SCA were what the yank model were called but I can't remember which Jap models they were.

Re: 1WG Fork Oil
It just dawned on me that you probably have a Genesis, which I think was the FZR400RU.
Did a quick search and came up with this...

You will need to register to view the manual. I have forgotten my login details as I haven't used this site in ages so I couldn't access it.

Re: 1WG Fork Oil
Genesis /FZR400U/FZR400W (the non-EXUP bikes) 444ml /92mm Gap.
There are downloadable manuals (& parts lists) around for this to confirm.
Think the 'U' is Japanese & 'W' is US
