Anyone heard of this muffler??
Hello all,
I recently picked up another RVF400 for the track and it has a carbon muffler on it with the brand name, "Vega Sports - racing exhaust".
It's a bolt on end can and it sounds really nice.
I have looked all over the web and can't find any info on where Vega Sports is from and the only info that I came up with was about some Vega systems on Chevrolets and some other exotic European cars.
My curious mind needs to know..........................

Yes, Japanese made muffler, usually a carbon & kevlar twill.

Re: Anyone heard of this muffler??
Hi there! Vega Sports are Jap build, are offered in carbon and kevlar, but also in stainless and alloy. Most of them with the Jap legal noise approval tag on the cans. Not sure if they are still in business. Have seen a carbon one in the flesh and it looks very nice and good build, and not that loud. Reminds me, I may have some data of them in some Jap mags I have here but not sure. Will check this later.
