Arn't disc bolts high tensile? Which is why there so pricey?
If you use a weaker steal they might break off under heavy braking.

in agreement . got the standard type bolts from wemoto last year under 20 quid a set from memory not a lot of dosh for peace of mind .

Disc bolts confuse me.
There is quite a debate if you get into it.
Galvanic corrosion is worse on Stainless Steel / Titanium than on the std zinc plated steel bolts.
Tensile strengh is another issue.. the bolts are threaded directly into rather weak aluminium as most of the force isn't transferred directly to the bolt, but to the wheel or something like that.
I just use standard honda bolts :D
Above all make sure whatever you use is torqued upto the right setting.

yeah i might just go for honda ones , not having the wheels powder coated for a month or two so no rush to decide
