Crank lock on NC29 (changing front sprocket)

Put the bike in 1st gear and get someone to apply the back brake whilst you crack the nut. Should work a treat.....

The only problem is there is no chain on the bike! looks like i;m going to have to get an impact gun

On the 23 engine you can just jam a thick socket between the teeth of the old sprocket and the engine, then the bolt comes out easily with a reasonable length breaker bar.
