Mirror extension blocks for an NC23?
Am tired of the eternal view of my elbows... Does anyone know of anywhere that sells the above? Ebay is showing a random shop in Hong Kong that sells 25mm blocks for like £20 Inc P&P.... not overly keen on paying out this amount for two small blocks of plastic & then waiting like two weeks for them to show up? The other option is to make my own...
Anyone?
Anyone?

I'm sure I read somewhere on this forum, someone used ducati mirrors, with indicator lights built in....
may be an idea to look for mirrors with longer stalks, peehaps from another Honda bike.... hopefully generic fitments!
cheers
Martin
PS:Know what you mean about crap mirrors on the 400s - and I'm a tiny chap!

If you have a mate with a lathe he could maybe turn you a decent pair of alloy ones for you, you may have to extend the bolts to go through the screen part somehow. I have the same problem, lots of elbow and have to turn my elbows in to see behind. Dont forget to post if you find something, I would be interested in what you do.

Re: Mirror extension blocks for an NC23?
Went to try the mirrors off my '02 VTEC VFR - to find they have 40mm centres rather than the required 35mm... hpmf... These would have been perfect as they have longer stems plus the bolts are seperate, meaning if I wanted to space them I just fit longer bolts? The bolts in my CBR mirrors may unscrew from the mirror itself if coaxed? Hard to say tho, they are pattern mirrors, sometimes the head is knurled and moulded into the mirror itself...
Would make just a shaped 25mm plastic block with two holes if I could get hold of any plastic the right size? Will keep searching for different mirrors tho, kinda grates as the mirrors on my CBR are nearnew, heyho!
