Spark plugs for a NC29 - is there much difference?

Post by marty400 »

Hiya all,

What are the differences between CR8EH-9 an CR9EH-8 spark plugs?

What are the differences between standard and iridiums?

I'm going to be scratching the NC29 along welsh twisties next year, rather than track days. I'm guessing I will be revving her, but not redlining all the time.

I'm guessing Iridum straight off

But what about the type of plug? CR8 or CR9???

Hope you can advise
Cheers

I only use CR9EKs... and have never had a problem... never tried anything else.

CR8 for mixed riding, CR9 for mostly flat out hooning. Iridiums are highly recommended, and use CR9HIX because even though it's a hotter plug, it won't foul during slow riding like a regular CR9 would.
