Hi all,
I am going to be getting one of Rick's genny covers for the gsxr k5 rotor.
My question is,
Can you use the k5 750 rotor or do you use the 1000 k5 rotor?
Also do i need to use the gsxr stator coils or can i use the NC35 ones?
Any advice much appreciated
Jeff

pretty sure your need 1000 parts mate, the k7 parts are lighter if you can source them and as far as i know you will need the gsxr stator coils.

I ended up sourcing everything but the rotor from the US which wasnt trouble free, its good news rick is doing a kit now.

It cost me around £350 all in

Cheers mate, thats very useful to know :peace:
Did you have to pay import tax for the bits from the states?
I am planning on getting it up and running for early next year so i have a bit of time to get the parts.
Cheers

Is it worth the cost??? Yes if you can justify spending that much money on improving your bike. its one of those mods that seems like a lot of outlay but it works.

Yeah i got stung for import tax but i included that in the £350

I have one too.. It works. Simple as that.

I used K5 rotor and stator pieces and overall it cost me over £200...cheaper and makes your bike work better than any pointy arsed tail unit will ever do... 8-)
