I'll bob a couple on but in the main it was my loking at my clutch until ably assisted by the 400gb posse.

My bike has shat the gearbox (not the only one) and so I am going to have to get a look out for a new motor..

The trackdays were great - friday I rode my ZX10 on a normal No Limits day and it was superb. Scary but fun.
Friday night was fixing clutch palaver til 2300 and then a moist couple of sighting laps sees me getting acquanted with No9 only for the bike to get stuck in 3rd and it will not come out.

Clutch is bob on...

I was a lucky boy, as the CT gang allowed me to take the ZX10 out as I was in fast group - that was cool. I was chilled and just bobbed around as fast as was appropriate.

Sunday - helped the wife and boy get packed and home and I then had the chance to ride, by the grace of some very kind people, some lovely 750s.

First, an old SRAD - flat front tyre and forks with no damping made that a touch sketchy - but I still enjoyed getting out :)

Next, an OW01 :O Not many of these about and so I was very nervous and excited... but it had flat battery and so after trying to bump it down the hill I was looking like a no show...until Paul gave me the nod and offered the RC30 for a session :D

I think I need one. So tractable, neutral and sharp - it had the most wonderful feeling of familiarity that it was easy to ride - I held back, of course, but warmed into it and enjoyed every minute of it - what a well sorted moto. Brakes were excellent, it handled superbly and was so light to turn in. If it were mine.... (lol) then I'd get gripper foot-pegs! It was that good - needed for nowt. A perfect road bike that can hustle.

An opportunity to ride a bike that all of us 400gb people would wish to ride - thanks Paul - top lad.

Next session...the OW01 was charged.. fuck me - long, low and more primitive. Flat slide carbs, no airbox and pukka race bike setup.
it had super sticky tyres, fresh from the warmers and it gave me a huge grin. I've owned YZF750. FZR4/6 3TJ, FZR600 (x2)and a Thunderace - so the ergonomics of it came back to me after a couple of laps and by then I was fully giving it the beans. Simon, the owner, implored me to rag it...and so..I ragged it. It was a superb bike for the track - stable as it was long and low yet rapid and tight due to the racebike nature. found myself relaxing into it and was able to ride very fast indeed. Overtook 4 of the 400GB guys in one go...whoosh and brake!

Great weekend - met some non riding people who turned up for a nebby and reckon that once I am back in the game with no9 that next year will be spot on.

Great to meet everyone over the weekend, didn't realise there are so many VFR's! Felt a bit lonely on my 29 :-)

Also the CR250 is a great looking machine.

This has really made me want to take up some regular trackdays and maybe sack in the roads, too busy, pot holey and slow!

Roll on next year! Any plans for another day a few people will be at this season?

This weekend I will be starting on a "Youtube" video with a mix of video and photos from Cadwell Park. If anyone has any happy snaps from the weekend, or got any good ones from the professional photographers around the track, and would like them woven into the final product, please send them to me at NGneer [at] Gmail [dot] com

Hi Sam, that may have been me, your dad was on the bargain fzr yes?

Yea that vfr of Liam's is quick, probably the quickest I've rode which I'm a little jealous of :)

Good to meet you hope you make it along to some more events and if you ever fancy a day back down south at brands, lydden etc hit me up.

Tony

Well I finally got around to nailing together some pics and video from Cadwell Park.
Thanks to everyone that was there for making it such a cracking weekend....and I am already thinking of the next one. ;)

I hope I managed to get most people into the video and will have to take more photos next time to make sure.

Awesome video Ian!

Really love the bellypan camera view, especially through mansfield.

The bikes of shame even had a few showings in there!
