Cadwell Park Trackday - 125's

Nothing more to say really, if it's been organised it'll be here.

I dont think there will be a specific 125 group but there was a couple of lads on 125's running in the novice group last year.

Whether we'll be able to run in the novice group as well as the 250/400 group will be another matter...

Ahh right, was confused as the previous year a couple of the lads on restricted licences weren't allowed to ride but id have thought a 33hp NC would be as quick as a 125.

That's was due to MSV not having insurance for us as they didn't coubt us as having a full licence. No problem with the bikes.

Ye understand, I was thinking no need for a road license when on track so thought it must have been the bike power.

I'm not sure of the rules but I'd imagine you'll have to pay again for the novice class. I'll only do two classes for one of the days though.

It would be interesting to see how my 26 year old NSR would stand up to everything else. I say stand up as its not very good at moving as it breaks alot.

In the year I've nearly owned it I managed 600 miles and I've not seen it for over 8 months.

I've just booked myself on a novice day at Cadwell - novice bike that is, I've raced cars there many times...

it looks like the MSV T&C's do allow riders with restricted licences, so it's worth asking.

They didn't when we went, my restriction is up now so it's not a problem. When we were at Cadwell myself and another rider passed the Classic Bikes paper work but when MSV checked our license we had to wait to talk to someone (circuit manager or something) who then said we couldn't ride the track

I have a 1989 1GU RD125LC Mk3 in lovely original condition.
its a hoot to ride - on the road
i would imagine it would be shite on track, and honestly i enjoyed the CRM so much i would not want to be back and forth with limited time out to enjoy the day.
if riding a 125 and not anything bigger then fair play i hope you have a great time. we will come and cheer you on from the grandstand

Paul, The idea was to ride both in two classes so loads more track time. I wouldn't want to miss my 400/250 time on track with the restb of you guys. Although if nobody else is up for it I may just bring something different for a giggle like my Dommie.
