Hi guys,

Aint posted in ages, so thought I'd show you all a few pics from a track day I did the week before last with No Limits. Being in Jersey, France is our nearest land mass and has provided us with many an enjoyable track day over the years. So far this year I've managed to do 2 days at Pau, followed by a day at Nogaro, and just last week we had two days at Val De Vienne.

Bike hasn't missed a beat. The slightly bigger rad and removal of the thermostat seamed to cure last years overheating issues. And I am just about getting used to the Techtronics quickshifter I had fitted in the spring. Mix that with Bridgestones amazing slicks, I've had the two best trips away ever this year.

Here are some pics;

Can't beat a trackday barbecue! Or French food in general!

My mate on the bike in this photo races with the Thundersport lot on an 09 R1. He loved every minute of riding the little 4, even if he did look like Donkey Kong on Mario Kart!!

And then after trackday, the competition continued!!!

Vals..... Best track ever. Going in March for 6 days. Cheaper than booking throuhg UK firms and the best facilities going. Love the place.
What times did you get?

Yeah mate, Val is good. Have you tried any of the other French ones? Pau or Nogaro?

Times wise, according to my on-board video I was getting 2.05's - 2.10's. Not exactly tearing up trees, but something to work on next year!

2.05s is good.
I had 2.10's there on my CBR400rr and was capable of getting to about 2.05's the way I was going but my zorst snapped in 2 so that held me to around 2.12 as the carberation was shot then.
Did 2.10's this year on my R6 which considering I could only walk about 20 meters when I arrived, was ok, I suppose.
A couple of the lads managed 2.02's and one managed a 1.58 twice. Aimed for 2 mins. I am sure I'll be around the target in 2010 now i am fitter.
Yep. Will vouch that the food is excellent compared to British crap though in reality, its not much different, just cheaper.
Did a week in Nogaro the a week in Vals one year
Another, did a week in Vals then 3 days at Croix.
Nogaro is ok but it was soooooo cold. Vals had a heatwave a week later in March.
Croix is a bit on and off and very bumpy. 2 days was enough their. I was getting bored and frustrated as only running downpipes and tyres were shot.
Iz did Pau and loved it there one year
