was the engine in gear when you were checking the speedo cable?

It won't move in neutral!

Common problem is the end the cable goes into the gearbox.. the drive cog is plastic and as soon as your speedo cable becomes dirty and hard to turn the plastic cog strips itself to bits.

Best fix in that scenario is new speedo cable and cog

you can get to the top one easily without removing anything, try using a flexi extension bar.

you could get a new stud welded on, or get a new rear manifold, i'v got one if you need one.

They sit in the carb rubbers. They definitely won't work as well as the correct washers. They'll either make the bike output more or less than 33bhp. So you may as well ride unrestricted or ride a smaller cc bike......

I don't think you know what your doing.

The hole size and placement is drilled for each specific bike.

While they may work, they might not give you the correct power and harm fuelling.

You can buy a set from Ricky that are copies of origianl NC30 manufactured restrictors for pennies.

Saves a head-ache of playing about with washers that are clearly wrong.

Of course they don't. Yes, you want the bike running, but doing this would just be stupid. Why would NC30 washers be off-set like that? It won't work.
