hah! a plane ticket huh, lets be serious, thatl cost a fortune. and i dont see how the mounting plate can be a problem. its still mounted on at the bottom bolt, and the bike has been working before, il put a bolt at the top part too, but im 100% sure that is not the problem. i am going to check for spark in a few hours to see if there is any and will let you know. im pretty sure its my plugs that are damaged.

Maybe its just me, but you continually ask for peoples advice (guys who know these bikes inside out) - then totally disregard the advice they give you and come up with your own diagnosis.
That approach has worked well for you so far.....

im not disagreeing with anyone, im just trying to clear out a problem.... the bike WAS working before, that coil never had a bolt there when i first bought it. and i just came back from the bike and mounted a bolt there, and its still the same. so i was right, that was not the problem. i also checked for spark on all plugs, and they are all sparking, however on a previous post, i posted a picture of one of the cylinders full with petrol when i removed the carbs. i noticed when i removed the plug on THAT particular cylinder the plug was soaking wet. i pressed the ignition and petrol was spewing out of that hole. quite badly if i may... so maybe the bike isnt firing up becuase of that cylinder? but im sure the bike can still start with 3 cylinders.

i was told to check the float gaskets? or something similar to that on the carbs, i have no idea how to adjust the float height or to check the gasket. and the Haynes manual doesn't seem to explain anything on the floats, it just says adjust the height but with no, "how-to"...

YOU would be better replacing the carbs with a set that are known to be in good running condition.

I am serious as a heart attack. Round trip from Pisa to London-Stansted is 70 Euro. How much have you sunk into this bike and gotten nowhere?

Come on Ersan - put the bike back to how Honda made it - little things like the coil not being attached is why your bike is being a bastard. You can bet your arse that in the future that will cause issues and you will have deserved it failing.

If you methodically reviews the bike and fixed each issue, properly, first time, then you would have a bike that will give you years of service and it would love you for it.

There is fuck all actually wrong with it - just little bits here and there that you are missing and not sorting properly.

@ Steve - good offer..but check how far from Stansted to Inverness...fecking miles!

It is a bloody long ride for me, or I would have been there by now!

yeah but now i have problems like carb floats not sealing and letting fuel into the cylinders. rear left one (when sitting on the bike) and now i dont know how to fix it, just buy a new carb? or attempt to fix the floats? not a clue.

i hate living so far up north, if i had a car i would drive down to one of you guys to help me out, but i dont even have a car license yet :\ which is another pain in my arse.

float bow seal? isnt that the gasket that goes between the float and the cover that you screw on with 3 screws? how will that prevent fuel leaking into the cylinder chambers, if that gasket was worn wouldnt fuel just leak on to he ground since that part of the carb isnt inside the carb rubbers.... OR am i thinking of a totally different seal/gasket?
