You'll all be glad to hear the finger is well on the mend and can be used long as there's no sideways force to it.

Between the grinder, air saw and Dremel the silencer has gone from this:

To this:

And started on making one of the new parts to get welded in.

The hole cutter I have is no where up to the job and failed within 5 mins of being pushed so that's the next hurdle.

I guess you'll be chain drilling & filing then - bit of a ball ache!

And was achieved using a hole cutter and new larger guide the workshop quickly turned up for me (cheer lads!)

Had to take the Dremel to some spot welds to this this part off

So now I have a clean outlet to work with.

Fella close to my work, did it on the side for me as his boss is pretty sound. Works for a car accident repair centre

Baffle turned up from Cyprus, and was immediately cut up
Image

Got this made by the workshop at work from my proper fag packet drawing, they had some 57mm stainless offcuts kicking around luckily.
Image

Drilled all the holes out the solid part
Image

Got it welded up, made it really restrictive so I've got the option to open it out
Image

Measured and cut the excess off
Image

Fits!

The end is in sight!
